מִשְׁפָּט mishpat is the common and general word for "judgment" or for "justice". Considering the centrality of justice to Amos it is strange it only occurs 4 times, in 5:7, 15, 24, 6:12 (this is another of those words occurring only in this section of the book). Mishpat is commonly associated with tsedaqah ("righteousness").
