נגשׁ ngsh hiphil "bring, approach"  in Am 5:25 used technically of presenting offerings, while in 6:3 it refers to actions which "bring" near an evil time and in 9:10 it is paired with קדם "confront", and in 9:13 suggests "catch up with".
