A unique appellation
Similar but less elongated ways of naming God do sometimes occur in messenger formulae. Within Amos the form נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה occurs at 4:5; 8:3 & 9:11, and נְאֻם־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי צְבָאוֹת at 6:8 & 14 (cf. 9:11) and similar forms occur at Isa 1:24; 3:15. 19:4; Jer 49:5; none is as elongated as נְאֻם־אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה אֱלֹהֵי הַצְּבָאוֹת
