Update
Time to report and explain if not actually not to post the paper. Because our project involves interviews Mary Griffiths and myself have had to submit an ethics application for our research - and the ethics committee - which is at summer-holiday half-speed - hasn't replied yet! The Presbyterians have also declined to take part at this time (they're doing a review of their wesbite communications) - but the New Life and Destiny Church administrators are keen: we're trying to find a replacement 'mainstream' church.
So, we've done some background research and analysis but haven't yet done the interviews which are to be the core of our report.
However, we will be doing do them SOON because our proposal for a presentation on a similar topic has been accepted for the 'Media and Belief in an Interdependent World' conference in Paris at the beginning of March and that paper needs to be done by Feb 14th.
By the way anybody know where can I find a good explanation of the 'apostolic' form of leadership used in the Pentecostal churches?
